Hi!

I hope this sends correctly, I'm not used to this, but I'm definitely getting better!

This is Anemone, if you haven't already guessed, and I hope you're okay? I felt like we didn't get enough time to say a proper goodbye, but I'm glad I'm still able to talk to you, even if you're probably far, far away. Things here have been tense, now that our planet is now in orbit with another one and people are very upset about that, even though it's not our fault at all! Mom wants me off the planet for a bit, and I've recently discovered some things that would make for the perfect adventure.

So I've been reading up on anything I can find on the original Star People, our creators, and it turns out that our planet, Ekosi, was one of the last colonies they made over a million years ago before they suffered some kind of mass extinction, leaving us as some of the last echoes of their existence. I want to know more about them. What were they like? Why did they create us? Where did they come from? Is there an ancient home planet of theirs somewhere out in the universe?

During my studies, I've uncovered mention of a planet called Iskwiyac, which means "for the last time" and/or "in the last place," according to what little original Star People writing I know. I thiiiiiink it was built for some kind of energy containment? I've love to know more, and I happen to have coordinates for it!

I know it's a lot to ask you to go to a whole unknown planet with me considering we only met the one time, but you have an artifact of my creators fused to your hands so you're the most logical choice to ask! But I'll ask it officially: Will you go to a faraway planet with me to do some archaeology and maybe discover something cool?

Good to hear from you! Everything was kind of rushed, wasn't it? It's still all kind of a blur to me. I'd ask if things have been okay but it sounds like it's been pretty tense.

It's been busy on and off around here, but we've been okay, I think. Guess I'm still getting used to the fact that we're constantly on the move and not on one planet or something.

Anyway! That looks like some fascinating things to look into! And to be fair, any planet around here is going to be unknown to me. That said, I'd love to go! Learning about ancient civilizations sounds cool!

...there aren't any mentions of gigantic ancient guardians in Iskwiyac, are there?

Backdated Feelings Session with Dr. Feelings

"You mean brutally threatened," Donnie corrects from behind a welding mask before he finally ceases whatever he's doing. He inspects his work with a critical eye before shutting the panel and turning to face Mikey.

His brother is given an equally appraising look as he removes his equipment and sets things down. The glasses really don't go with anything at all. The wraps are the same as Leo, looks like they've all gone for a more unified scheme. He can't help but look down at his own equipment, much unchanged, everything still purple from battle shell to arm and kneepads. The most obvious difference is the pair of what look like evening gloves covering his fingers and going up to his elbows. Closer inspection reveals that they seem to reflect strange depths, like a window into space, looking at swirling galaxies and glimmering, distant stars.

Donnie sighs, moving to pull over his rolling chair before pausing. "...are you going to insist on standing?"

Mikey chooses to ignore the first snip. He scans the room before finding the most pointer-pole-stick looking thing he can find to help himself look and feel more "professional". The more he can appear in character, the better, this was important.

He's noticed the change in attire. The purple accents that were far more common when they were younger. They would talk about that, later. Baby steps.

"Who is the doctor here?" Mike asks, tapping Donnie's head with the stick and clearing his throat. "Now, unfortunately I was not able to create a slide show or any visual medium to accompany me for this Jam, so you will have to make due with my sultry voice."

He pauses a moment, both to assess Donnie and search for any signs of fleeing and for dramatic affect.

"First of all, while movie night was as fantastic as always, I couldn't help but notice something was a little off." He folds his hand behind his back and paces a little as he speaks before pausing to lean in close to his brother. "Does there happen to be something that you're keeping from me, dearest brother of mine?" He doesn't move his gaze, Donnie never was a great liar.

Now that he's slept for a million years and has fed and caffeinated himself he has a moment to worry about the team that went with him. Especially their youngest number. That fight went south quicker then he thought it could. Granted they all made it out, but still... he wants to check up. ]

Mikey made his way into Donnie's quarters without pause or hesitation, having long since relocated there rather than the vents he'd previously been holed up in.

He wound through the section of the living room he's claimed as his, which held pikes of soft blankets and nearly stacked boxes of knitting supplies and candles and a recreation of the dragon his Raph had given him, which had started him giving them to all of his brothers, and towards the door to Donnie's room.

Mikey tentatively leaned towards the door then back, before asking, "Hey, Don? Can I ask you something? Maybe?"

Donnie was hunched over his worktable, goggles down, soldering iron in hand as he carefully applied it to some circuitry. True, he could probably just make things be just by touching things, but he'd rather stick to more mundane methods when it came to piecing things together. It had taken days after Iskwiyac before he'd finally felt like doing anything more than just staying burrowed under blankets, and ever since, he'd thrown himself back into work like nothing had happened.

"What?" he asked, not looking up from his work as he soldered the small, delicate components into place.

[There's no answer, but it's perhaps a minute before the door eventually opens to admit her. A good sign, maybe. It means he's there, anyway.

Donnie's nowhere to be seen though, not at his computer or around his workshop or lab space. Anemone will find him towards the back of the room where he's devoted space to a makeshift greenhouse, where all the Cybertronian blooms he'd been cultivating for the past year are.]

[ Recently Bass requested some important information. Who... is the strongest Cybertronian on this ship. He received a hot tip that it was 'Shockwave' but also 'not the Senator one'. There were a few thoughts that went through his processor. One... it was really dumb that there were two people here with the SAME NAME. It must get confusing! Two, while he does (surprisingly) know what a Senator is, he has no idea what a Senator looks like. Do they wear signs? Bass guesses probably not.

This leads him to one conclusion: He has to fight BOTH of them to make sure he's actually fighting the strong one.

This leads him to a second conclusion: He has no idea where Shockwave lives. He could ask for direction, ask if anyone knows... but that begs the question... If they know how strong Bass is will they even tell the truth?

There is now one solution: He has to canvas the ship himself and check every inhabited room he comes across.

So there's the backstory. And that's why Bass, armored up in his winged Treble armor (being able to fly covers ground quicker!) is pounding aggressively at your door.
