Unfortunately if there is, it's no one I know. And talking to those native to the planet doesn't get very far since they've never been off of it themselves, apart from their being taken.
...huh? Oh!
Actually, the basin's something I'll have to look for. I'm sure the junk room has something. [He taps at his bracer computer.] Hey Vallum? Trade places with Sentry and meet me over at the junk room. I'm going to need your assistance.
Vallum! [Poinsettia's expression instantly brightens up, now immediately turning to face the door with a huge smile.]
Oh my goodness, I can't wait to see him!! [While Poinsettia isn't looking directly at Donnie himself, she is at least keeping her eyes on him in spirit.] Is he super nice to you and everyone? Does he do cool stuff too? I can't wait to get the basin from him and to thank you and him so much for the help —
[Now at this point, Poinsettia has now become quite the certified yapper about how cool Vallum and Donnie is . . . despite not meeting the former in person just yet. But regardless, at least Poinsettia has something to look forward to!]
Have you been to the bar? I let Mikaela keep the other two golems I got to help be bouncers in case of any fights. Not that anyone's supposed to fight in there but you never know, around this place. I named them Bastion and Bulwark. But yeah, don't expect too much from them. Like I said, they were made to do a specific job, not socialize.
But I guess Vallum's nice? Judging from the security programming they have, I would not want to engage in combat against them.
If I remember right, none of the drinks were that alcoholic. They all tasted like fruits as said on the menu, and they were absolutely amazing!
[Poinsettia then preened at being able to drink every single glass featured on the latest offerings at Maccadam's, being something that is worth flexing over. Though they did eventually drop their bragging rights attitude immediately afterwards once it all washed over.]
. . . And it's probably something I may not do again. I don't even remember how long I was out sleeping in Maccadam's! Probably a day or two? It's probably more than that, if I can recall . . .
I mean — it was just one time! [This is technically true, but also false at the same time if one considered the fact that in the previous two times they've been at Maccadam's . . . they got drunk and landed themself right in the medibay.]
And it's not like that I'm drinking roboty drinks or anything like that! I made sure that the drinks were Shaymin-made just for me. Or at least that is what I heard about the bar, since I'm pretty sure they're meant to serve everybody on board, robot or not?
[Sighing wistfully, but not meant to be taken personally as you know . . . Donnie does have a point and does care about them!] I guess you're right. It has been a long while since I've eaten or drank something fruity, but I'll keep that in mind next time.
[As if the time Poinsettia attempted to politely ask for . . . interestingly made herb cookies from a sketchy booth located within Maccadam's totally didn't happen, but Donnie doesn't really to know that, right?]
They do have non-alcoholic beverages, I believe. Mikaela hasn't let me have anything otherwise because I'm underage.
[He wrinkles his nose a bit, not that he cares tooo much. One day, perhaps he'll try it if he's allowed. There has to be some reason people drink the stuff, right?]
Anyway, I'm going to go find that basin. Not sure how long that's going to take so I'll just hit you up later when if find something suitable.
[Poinsettia simply nodded along with Donnie, pretty much confirming that yes, they did remember hearing about the bar serving non-alcoholic beverages right.]
Yes, yes, I can totally see that! A shame that Mikaela said no to you on having the drinks from the bar [Or at least the regular alcoholic drinks, that is. The more kid-friendly versions of them are most likely fair game, though.], but I can see her reasoning on why she would say no on the matter. I think she was just looking out for you since . . . you're pretty young and all that. A drunk turtle might not be so good, now that I think about it . . .
[Upon hearing about the basin once more, Poinsettia instantly perked up in attention.] Oh!! Oh, of course, the basin! Of course we need the basin! D-Do you want me to go with you to go in and find that basin together or do you want me to stay in for a bit until you find it for the garden set up? E-Either way is good for me!
[He shrugs at that. Mikaela's practically considered a big sister at this point so he's not discounting those points the Shaymin makes, though he does frown at it being implied that he's young- he's sixteen!! Donnie that's still young]
Nah, it's cool. Might not be the best place for you to go, anyway. I don't want anything to accidentally bury you. But since I don't know how long it'll take, don't wait up for me. I'll bring it over once I've got something ready.
Maybe so. [Poinsettia was tempted to leave the conversation as it is, especially since the basin is a huge priority for the both of them, but then something clicked together inside their mind. It's a tempting one at that, so they might as well give it a shot, right? If not . . . then there's always next time.]
But if I used the Gracidea flower that you've been growing inside your room to get into my Sky Forme . . . would that help make the search for the basin faster? And for me to be less likely to be buried inside?
Hm. It'd be a toss-up, really. A lot of the stuff I end up using isn't technically what it was originally purposed for. And if I can't find anything there, maybe we'll just have to resort to a broken cup or something from the bar.
The bar? Or the junk room? Junk room's kind of out of the way since it's not really a place that expects a lot of traffic. I mean, it's called junk room for a reason.
Have you not used the trams? They are pretty useful.
Th-The junk room I mean! [Thank goodness Donnie is there to help them remember the name of that place. There are so many places to remember at this point!] I-I just remembered that name; th-thank you.
And about those tr-tr—
[Poinsettia pauses themself for a brief yet awkward moment, then sheepishly admits something that may or may not take Donnie for a surprise.]
I — never used them. [Poinsettia puffs up their cheeks in complete awkwardness.] I thought it costs money, so I just chose to walk around.
[Attempting to ignore the fact that they totally didn't become super achey from walking that many miles.] At least I got to collect a lot of steps onto my communication device! It was . . . a lot.
[If Donnie was able to eye what was on their communication device, it would've been a ton of steps for him to see.]
[Donnie laughs.] If it costed anything, none of us would have probably had the correct currency to make use of it.
Whoever built this thing made it a point to install a transport system for organics, so you're highly encouraged to use it. No point in killing yourself just trying to get from one end of the ship to the other, that'd probably take like...weeks on foot.
[Poinsettia is now practically stunned to silence at this point, instantly dropping her jaw at the news.]
[Finally speaking up after a long amount of silence has fallen between the two of them.]
Yeah, I . . . might've fainted on the way to one of the rooms. Not that I remember the exact details, but even if I was able to use the t-trams . . . I don't think I'll be able to make it up because of how tall it is. [Ouch, Poinsettia. Just ouch, indeed.]
[Poinsettia began to sniffle, and began to nod along slowly.]
I-I will. And I'm sorry for not using the trams, Donnie. I-I didn't mean to make myself faint like that. [While Poinsettia is fully well aware that Donnie is just disappointed in them and not really that upset with them (or at least they hope so), the young hedgehog couldn't help but try to wipe away at the tears threatening to drip down their face.]
[Now looking up at the turtle boy with watery puppy-like eyes.] Donnie, are you mad at me? I'm sorry for not knowing any better, I will do better the next time I see a tram.
[Of course he was upset! The shaymin's proving to be quite reckless! And not even in ways he'd approve of!
Unfortunately it seems the boy's immune to waterworks and sad puppy faces.]
Yes, I'm mad, but so long as you promise not to do it again, it won't be a problem. Most of us here aren't from this universe. But that just means there's more of us available who will understand any of the problems or difficulties you might have, and if we've been here longer, can offer answers and solutions.
[Poinsettia sniffles, nodding vigorously as they took note of how upset Donnie was about what happened to them. They then wipe away at their face, now wet with tear stains.]
U-Understood, Donnie. I won't do it again, I promise you on that. I'll do my best not to put myself in danger the next time I come across something that needs anyone's help. [Especially Donnie's help, given how experienced he is with the R2's usual environment.]
[One might say he's being a bit harsh, but he's not really one to beat around the bush about such things. Unfortunately he's not one to sugarcoat things either.]
Good.
[His expression softens then.]
You take care of yourself, Poinsettia. People will probably get worried, otherwise.
[What a hypocrite. Not that he's really thinking about just how ironic it is for him to be giving such advice.]
[As admirable it is to see how adaptable Donnie is for his age, Poinsettia couldn't help but worry for him for the very exact reason. Hopefully, Donnie doesn't overwhelm himself too much while doing his best to help others out in need.]
Do you still want me to help you look for the basin or should I stay behind for now. Sometimes I worry that you could hurt yourself while you're helping others out, and I don't want that to happen to someone so young . . .
[TOO LATE Donnie blinks at that, his smile seeming a touch forced for just a split second before he shakes his head.]
I've got it. Won't even have to go to the junkroom for it. So just sit tight. Once we've got this installed, we can focus on figuring out how your garden's going to look.
[His smile is a lot more natural then, and he stoops down to give the shaymin a pat on the head before straightening. Before any other arguments can be made, his battle shell opens up, the violet glare of his jets flaring as he takes off and zooms towards the doorway.

[In a quiet, yet musing tone.] Yeah, of course I've been to the bar . . . I just didn't realize that Mikaela was with them until you told me so!
[Poinsettia then buried their face into their paws for a short moment.] Maybe I shouldn't have drank the entire menu the last time I was there . . .
no subject
[Donnie squints at Poinsettia then.]
How are you still alive.

Actually that might be a better option...
no subject
[Poinsettia then mimics Donnie's thinking gesture, but is tapping two paws against their mouth instead.]
Actually . . . is it on the way to the room you were talking about, Donnie? I've heard there's a faster way to get around if I recall correctly . . .
